A Magical Wedding at Hogwarts

Have you ever wanted to leave the regular grind of the muggle world and have a beautiful magical day as a wizard on your wedding day? This is what Stephen and Emerald did for their big day.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

This day started at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort where they said their "I Dos". Stephen and Emerald are big Harry Potter fans and they had a wonderful vision to take portraits at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We spend a couple of hours taking photos of the couple and their family members in the park. This day at the park was super busy but even with that challenge we still got some amazing photos in a timely manner.

Stephan and Emerald wanted photos in their wedding attire but also in their Hogwarts robes. I myself am a big Harry Potter fan. This is one fictional world I so with was real and for this couple on their wedding day it was as real and magical as it could be.

When planning for this wedding day the couple did check with Universal Studios in Orlando FL to make sure we were permitted to take professional photos in the parks. Not all theme parks allow this. They said yes that is no problem the only thing they can not do is get married in the parks. We were also told to be kind to the guests and not tell guests to stop and wait for us to take photos.

The hardest thing with shooting at Universal Studios was the crowd. We did this session on October 30th. This was a busy Saturday for the park. I would suggest anyone wanting to plan this for their day plan for a Friday or another weekday. My and my husband went to the park the day before for a fun day and there was lots of room we didn't have to wait too long for any ride except for new ones or broken down rides. The day we shot this wedding was rounded and shoulder to shoulder, especially in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That did NOT stop us and we still made it a super magical day!
