Brody and Abby's Beautiful Garden Wedding!

Brody and Abby said their vows on September 12th, 2026, at the Loft at Howe Farms in Georgetown, TN. These two planned the most beautiful wedding and surrounded themselves with so many people who loved them on their special day!
Brody and Abby booked with us for both their engagement photos and wedding day. I would describe their style as Elegant Garden. Their wedding day mixed industrial with a clean summer look, making for an elegant day. You wouldn't know it from these photos, but this morning was incredibly rainy, but it resulted in this stunning afternoon scene.
Their wedding day began with detail photos. Abby had selected a beautiful array of details for her flat lay, which made my photographer heart happy!
Once Abby was ready, we moved on to her getting-ready photos. Abby wanted her very kind mother to help her get ready, and Brody had a combination of his father, brother/best man, and mother included in his photos. All the attire for this wedding day is from Whimsy on Main, located in Downtown Dalton, GA! After Brody and Abby were both ready, it was time for the various first looks. Abby did a first look with her bridesmaids and dad. By the time Abby got to her first look with Brody, the emotions were already flowing, and this moment was just the icing on the cake.
When photographing a first look, I always like to ask the couple if they want this to be a private moment away from friends and family. If they do, I always help to clear the space for them to have this moment together. Something important to me is to allow my couple to tell me when this moment is over for them and not to cut this moment short. The first look is the first time the soon-to-be husband and wife are seeing each other on their wedding day. The only thing more special than that is the ceremony itself.
After the first look, we moved on to capturing some family photos as well as photos with the wedding party. Brody and Abby's ceremony took place in the garden behind The Loft, a stunning area the two decorated with gorgeous white pots/pillars and flowers. The lighting was brilliant for the photos we took during their ceremony.
After the ceremony, we finished up the family photos, and Brody and Abby went to enjoy a private dinner while the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour. After the hour was up, these two lovebirds made their grand entrance and went straight into their first dance, followed by the parent dances. Abby concluded her father-daughter dance with a beautiful speech about a very supportive person in her life, her mother. Abby dedicated her flowers to her mother, who has always loved and supported her throughout her life and was a big part of planning her wedding day. I do not think there was a dry eye in the room after this heartfelt speech.
Dinner was served to the guests while we went to capture the most beautiful couple's sunset portraits. I was not expecting the sunset to be this beautiful. After all the rain, clouds, and humidity of the day, I was expecting a pretty view, but not the beautiful scene that we got. On this day, God delivered a perfect sunset for these two.
As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, these two headed back to their reception to cut their cake and then dance until it was time to leave through a tunnel of sparklers. They were driven away in one of Howe Farm's beautiful vintage cars.
