Carrie & Greg's Downtown Summer Wedding Day

Carrie and Greg said their "I Dos" on June 7th, 2025, at The Vogue in Rome, Georgia. They surrounded themselves with friends and family to declare their love and celebrate.

Their wedding day was simple and beautiful. No drama, just family and love. As a wedding photographer, that is more than I can ask for. Everyone on this day was there for the couple, to do whatever Carrie and Greg needed them to do.

Carrie and Greg had a standard, simple schedule. They did not have a wedding party or do any first looks. After their getting ready photos, guests were arriving, and the ceremony time was drawing near. Right before the ceremony, a thick storm rolled in, making the venue very dark. When I was a newbie, something like this would have stressed me out, not knowing. We rolled with the darkness and captured some beautiful ceremony photos.

After their ceremony, we completed their family photos, and then it was time for their first dances. Following those beautiful dances, there were speeches and dinner.

I love all parts of a wedding day, but by the time dinner comes around, that moment with food is high up on my favorites list.

Their day rounded out with hours of dancing, beautiful sunset photos, and a late-night bubble exit.
